Contract	Panther wins contract for Howard Center for Human Services Intranet time tracking Web application. The Howard Center for Human Services is a large non-profit human services organization which has migrated employee time tracking to a Web-based system that integrates with billing and payroll systems. Panther won the contrct to provide extensive changes to the application necessitated by increasing complexity of time tracking, census, and group therapy data requirements.
Project	Panther and VCIL team up to create tool for teaching businesses how to make their Web sites accessible disabled Web users As the US population ages, a greater percentage of your customers will have significant disabilities. One in five workers has a significant disability, per the US Rehabilitation Act definition. Every day more workers need to use the World Wide Web to complete their tasks. It benefits everyone for businesses to make their Web sitse accessible. However, most businesses don't know where to begin. The Vermont Center for Independent Living commissioned Panther to create a brochure and corollary set of Web pages to educate businesses about the fundamentals of accessible Web design. The brochure may be used by any organization, however the current target audience is business owners. Disabilities that must be accounted for in Web design include: Blindness Lesser visual impairment Auditory impairment Color blindness Epilepsy Disabilities that impact motor function
